Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated
Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader to join our foundation team at our
Riverstone location.
This is a
hands-on, on-the-floor leadership role, where you will work closely with educators each day—leading by example, mentoring staff, and driving best practice in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of educators through on-the-floor mentoring, collaboration, and support
- Model and guide best-practice early childhood education in daily routines and program implementation
- Develop and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs that support each child’s growth, curiosity, and development
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture focused on high-quality care and education
- Build strong relationships with families and the community
- Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing standards are consistently upheld
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Minimum 6 months experience in an Educational Leader or leadership capacity
- Strong ability to lead, mentor, and inspire educators
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Child Protection training/certificate
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- A passion for continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth
