The Role
As a Lecturer in TAFE Queensland’s Dental Prosthetics team, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity available to join our Higher Education Dental Prosthetics team at TAFE Queensland’s South Bank Campus.
This position reports to the Operations Manager, Higher Education.
Salary
The salary range for a Lecturer is $113,561.44 to $126,298.23 (gross) per annum plus superannuation contributions of 12.75% of your salary depending on educational qualifications held and experience.

Mandatory Requirements
- Possession of a doctoral qualification or a master’s qualification in a relevant discipline at least one level higher than is awarded for the course of study being delivered; and/or
- Recognised equivalent relevant academic or professional or practice-based experience and expertise, except for staff supervising doctoral degrees having a doctoral degree or equivalent research experience; and
- Knowledge of contemporary developments in a discipline or field, which is informed by continuing scholarship or research or advances in practice; and
- Skills in contemporary teaching, learning and assessment principles relevant to a discipline, the role, and modes of delivery and the needs of the particular student cohorts.
- Current AHPRA registration as a dental prosthetist, without conditions.
