Our EF Language Campus in Perth is looking for a driven educator interested in side-stepping into the operations branch of the school. EF Perth is a globally recognized and NEAS-accredited institution based in the heart of Perth.
About The Role
As Senior Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping both the classroom experience and students’ academic journeys. This position combines teaching, academic support, and course development, offering a clear pathway into academic leadership roles such as Assistant Director of Studies, Director of Studies, and School Director.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Teaching English: Teach English classes across all proficiency levels and flexibly step in to cover sessions as needed to maintain continuity.
- Academic Administration: Serve as the central contact for academic operations, managing student placement, class allocation, progress tracking, and timetable planning to ensure seamless daily coordination.
- Enhancing Curriculum Materials: Contribute to curriculum development by continuously refining and improving teaching resources and lesson plans.
- Build a Supportive School Community: Create strong connections with students to foster a welcoming, engaging, and positive EF experience.
- Work Collaboratively Across Campus: Partner with colleagues and departments to support student success and contribute to a connected campus experience.
- Ad Hoc Campus Support: Provide flexible, dependable support during peak periods, special circumstances, or emergencies.
What We’re Looking For
- CELTA with six completed observation hours (or equivalent) or working towards TEFLQ status
- Bachelor’s degree in Teaching, Education, or other relevant subject
- The ability to balance teaching with administrative responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A student-first mindset with a commitment to quality and experience
- Adaptability and positive attitude driven by work in a dynamic, international environment
- Confidence using technology for everyday teaching and administrative tasks
