About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher to join our dynamic Secondary School team in 2026. Reporting to the Head of English, the successful candidate will be an innovative educator with a proven ability to engage and inspire students across Years 7 to 12.
As part of a collaborative and enthusiastic English Department, you will contribute to a culture that values literature, fosters critical thinking, and supports academic excellence. About You:
You are a compassionate and organised educator who brings:
- A Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) and current TRBWA registration
- Ability to teach ATAR Modern History
- Demonstrated experience teaching Humanities across Years 7 to 10
- Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Humanities curriculum
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Understanding of assessment strategies and data-informed instruction
- Collaborative approach to curriculum planning and professional development
- Willingness to support the Mission, Vision and Ethos and Core Values of Swan Valley Anglican Community School
