As the Head of Programs, Casey Tech School, your key responsibilities include:
- Lead the development, documentation and delivery of Casey Tech School‘s cutting-edge, technology-rich, STEAM, project-based and problem-based curriculum programs
- Support the co-design of curriculum programs with partner school teachers
- Support the Tech School Director by contributing to the strategy development and operations of the Casey Tech School
- Drive the development and implementation of student experience and retention strategies to improve early engagement, satisfaction and success.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and methods to ensure improved performance and quality of learner outcomes
- Build and maintain strategic relationships, alliances and partnerships with secondary schools, local industry and key stakeholders to enhance product and delivery strategies
- Engage with school partners to ensure high levels of student opportunity, attendance and engagement
- Engage with industry partners to ensure satisfaction and alignment with future workforce needs
About You
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
Qualifications Required For The Role
- Education qualifications – Graduate Degree (or higher) or TAE Teaching Qualifications (with VIT registration) or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2025
- Vocational or Bachelor level qualifications in any of the Health, Science, Maths, Engineering, or Technology disciplines
- Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline
- A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
- A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge
