The Position
Wenona School is seeking an exceptional Head of Junior School to provide strategic and operational leadership, working within a dynamic, talented, and collaborative team to foster a culture of educational excellence, innovation, and student wellbeing.
Reporting to the Principal, The Head of Junior School provides educational leadership to Junior School students, staff and families. Responsible for the day-to-day management, learning and wellbeing priorities of the Junior School, the Head of Junior School works with staff to foster dynamic classroom practice and a collaborative student-centred learning environment where girls thrive.
A highly skilled communicator, the Head of Junior School will be adept at engaging with all stakeholders in the Junior School community, providing leadership in the development of staff, maintaining positive relationships with parents and being a visible leader for students in the Junior School.
As a member of the Senior Executive Team (SET), the Head of Junior School will play a key role in the development and implementation of projects and initiatives aligned with the mission, vision and values of Wenona School.
