About the Role: We are seeking an experienced academic and educational specialist to lead the design and development of an initial teacher education program in Secondary Teaching.
This is a flexible, contract-based opportunity ideal for an academic passionate about shaping the next generation of secondary educators.
Key Requirements
- Academic Qualifications: PhD in Education with a focus on Secondary Teaching (essential).
- Standards Expertise: Deep, operational knowledge of AITSL national standards and framework.
- Accreditation Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching) course accreditation and endorsement requirements.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, unit writing, and successfully preparing and submitting course packages to VIT.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the end-to-end curriculum design for secondary education units/programs.
- Ensure full alignment with AITSL national standards and VIT accreditation criteria.
- Collaborate with our academic leadership team to construct submission-ready documentation.
