ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
This role would commence in January 2027 on an initial 5-year contract, with a further contract subject to satisfactory performance in the role.
Reporting to the Deputy Principal, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing strategic and inspirational leadership of the teaching and learning program from P-12. This role enables middle leaders and teachers to achieve excellence in student outcomes by leading a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, innovation, and evidence-informed educational practice.
The role focuses on:
- Developing and articulating a clear vision for teaching and learning now and into the future while fostering a contemporary professional learning culture.
- Coaching, mentoring, and collaborating with Curriculum Leaders to monitor student growth, and oversee academic progress.
- Leading initiatives to acknowledge student academic success.
- Building teacher capacity through an appreciative inquiry model, professional development plans aligned with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST), and collaborative Communities of Practice.
- Monitoring pedagogical practice and teacher capacity for alignment with frameworks from the QCT, QCAA, and AITSL.
- Collaborating across the Senior Leadership Team to contribute to the strategic planning, leadership, and management of the School.

Skills and Experiences:
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful in this opportunity, you will require:
- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
- A Master's degree in Education.
- Leadership and/or extensive professional experience in leading educational change that improved teacher practice and student outcomes.
- Proven collaborative leadership skills and the ability to work professionally with staff across the P-12 spectrum.
- Outstanding teaching practice and proficiency in using ICT for data collection and analysis.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary educational research in pedagogy, differentiation, professional learning, and evaluation methodologies.
- Willingness to support our shared Purpose Statement and the School’s values.
- High level of professional standards, conduct, and an understanding of appropriate professional boundaries when working with children and young people.
- Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and Anglican ethos of the School.
