Level: Years 7–10
Responsibilities
The role of Classroom Teacher may include, but is not limited to:
- Providing high-quality, engaging instruction to groups of students and individual students across Years 7–10 Science.
- Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of the Science curriculum and other relevant curriculum programs within the College.
- Planning and delivering differentiated learning experiences that respond to diverse student learning needs and promote student engagement, achievement and growth.
- Undertaking classroom teaching-related and organisational duties as determined by the Principal.
- Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, professional learning, camps, excursions and other College activities.
- Monitoring, assessing and providing feedback on student learning and using data to inform teaching practice.
- Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties as required
