Geebung State School are seeking a focused and dynamic leader to join their dedicated team. This role is offered as a Head of Department - Curriculum on a temporary full-time basis for 12 months unless otherwise determined.

Geebung State School is located on the Corner of Newman and Ellison Roads in the northern Brisbane suburb of Geebung. It is approximately 11 km from the city.
Geebung State School provides education for students from prep to year six. We are passionate about students having success at school. Each and every member of our school community believes that each and every student can and will achieve.

About The Role
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
- Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
