Position: Arabic Teacher

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Arabic Teacher to join our team in Melbourne, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse private Islamic school, providing high-quality education to students in a diverse, fast paced city. The school is located just 10minutes from Melbourne's golden coastline and yet just 20minutes from the CBD in this bustling city.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet the individual needs and learning styles of students in accordance with the school's curriculum and standards.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence, personal growth, and social development.
- Evaluate student progress and provide ongoing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching methods and techniques.
- Participate in departmental and school-wide meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and productive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/PGDE in Arabic or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Arabic in a classroom setting.
- Experience working in an international school is preferred, but not essential.
