The successful applicant will bring a strong background in both junior and senior Home Economics, with the ability to engage students in practical, real-world learning experiences across food studies, nutrition, and hospitality.
- Engineering - Year 10-12 - (Permanent, full-time, commencing 22/01/2026)
Experienced teaching senior Economics and/ or have a background in aviation studies or related fields (tertiary study or industry experience). Familiarity with Cert III in Aviation or Cert II in Autonomous Systems or a willing to upskill. Cert IV TAE would be required, and if not qualified, willing to attain qualification.
- Design and Technologies - Year 7-10 - (Permanent,fFull-time, commencing 22/01/2026)
Experience with hand tool and machines for metalwork / woodwork, high level of safety consciousness & experience in a trade is highly beneficial

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
