About The Role
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Provide strategic leadership by supporting the Principal in shaping and communicating a shared educational vision focused on quality learning outcomes and deputising as needed.
- Demonstrate ethical leadership by upholding the deputy principalship as a values-based role, embedding socially just practices, and setting high standards for staff and student performance.
- Foster professional growth through active participation in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, community groups, government agencies, industry, and business to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Lead with accountability by understanding relevant legislation and policies, being future-focused, and managing resources effectively to achieve school goals.
