The Assistant Head of Secondary – Teaching and Learning is a key member of the College’s Secondary Leadership Team, providing visible, instructional, and values‑driven leadership with a strong focus on teaching quality, curriculum coherence, assessment, and student learning outcomes in the Secondary School.
Reporting to the Head of Secondary, and working closely with the Principal, Deputy Principal, and College Senior Leadership, this role ensures the College’s vision and strategic priorities are enacted consistently in classroom practice. The Assistant Head of Secondary – Teaching and Learning plays a central role in strengthening instructional practice, embedding high‑impact pedagogy, and aligning curriculum, assessment, and reporting with both Victorian curriculum requirements and the College’s Islamic worldview.
