Responsibilities Include
- Improve the educational outcomes of students in their schools
- Develop the quality of teaching and learning
- Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.
- Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Support the Principal in leading the school community to develop and enact a shared educational vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes for all students, and deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral leadership role, embedding socially just and inclusive practices across the school.
- Set and sustain high expectations for student achievement and staff performance through effective leadership and accountability.
- Lead strategically with a futures-focused mindset, actively engaging in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Build and maintain productive partnerships with parents, community groups, industry, business, and government agencies, while managing resources effectively and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
