About Us
Marsden State School currently has 1,432 students on our Prep - Year 6 campus. In 2024, these students are allocated to 58 classes. The school was opened in 1978 and its success to date can be attributed to the extent that all members of the school community have become involved in the life of the school.

- Promote high performance and growth: Set and maintain high standards for both students and staff while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, lifelong learning, and professional development.
- Build strong partnerships and community connections: Collaborate actively with parents, government agencies, community organisations, industry, and business to enhance opportunities and outcomes for students.
- Lead strategically and responsibly: Operate with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policy, and manage resources effectively to achieve strategic goals.
Additional information - as per clause 5.9.5 of the Teacher Certified agreement 2022, this position has an approved classification of Stream 3, Level 9 due to enrolments exceeding 1100. This classification may not continue past the expiry date (31/12/2026) of the current certified agreement”
