Step Into Your Next Chapter
The Head of Department - Curriculum at Annandale State School forms part of the school's leadership team, providing curriculum expertise advice and support to the teaching team. The successful candidate will be required work in partnership with the leadership team to;
- Provide coaching and mentoring support for classroom teachers.
- Modelling effective teaching practices.
- Support the Quality Assurance of the 3 levels of curriculum planning.
- Supporting teachers in the implementation of curriculum adjustments to meet the requirements of Individual Curriculum Plans.
- Leading a small team that supports EAL/D Learners and Library Services.
- Monitor student academic performance and support teachers in reviewing teaching practices that lift student outcomes.
