About The Role
We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. In this senior specialist role, you’ll provide expert advice on a diverse and complex portfolio of life, disability and income protection claims. You’ll coach and mentor claims managers, lead development initiatives, and help shape a culture of excellence across ART Life.
You’ll play a critical part in delivering proactive claims management strategies, improving processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting consistent and effective decisionmaking—ultimately enhancing outcomes for both members and ART.
Day To Day, You'll
- Provide expert guidance on complex life, disability and income protection claims.
- Coach, mentor, and develop claims staff to build technical capability.
- Lead group training and capability uplift initiatives
- Collaborate with leaders, Risk, Regulatory & Compliance, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and recommend solutions.
- Support consistent, high-quality decision making on complex, high value claims.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency. [
- Provide technical guidance and policy interpretation across ART Life

About You

- Demonstrated experience managing complex life, disability or income protection claims.
- Experience mentoring or coaching others in claims capability.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to influence outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (desirable).
