This position will lead the curriculum areas of Modern History, Ancient History, Geography, Economics, Business, Accounting, Tourism and Legal Studies in the senior phase of learning.
In the junior phase, this position will lead the curriculum areas of History, Economics and Business and Geography.

About The Role
The Head of Department - Humanities will play a leading role as a member of our Indooroopilly Leadership Team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of curriculum and learning that enriches the lives of all students.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
