As Deputy Principal, you will work in close partnership with the Principal to lead school improvement, with a specific focus on early years education.
You Will Play a Key Role In
- Driving early years pedagogy and continuity (Prep-Year 3)
- Strengthening transition pathways through partnerships with local kindy networks
- Building a strong culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high expectation
- Building staff capability in multi tiered systems of support
Key Responsibilities
- Improve educational outcomes for all students, with a focus on early years learners
- Instructional leadership of quality teaching and learning practices
- Foster strong, positive relationships between students, staff, families, and community stakeholders
- Model ethical, values-based leadership aligned with the Deputy Principal role
- Embed socially just and inclusive practices across the school
- Set and maintain high standards for student achievement and staff performance
- Lead strategic, future-focused initiatives aligned with school priorities
- Manage resources effectively to achieve school goals
- Drive improvement through evidence-based practices and data literacy
