The Role
Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School is seeking an outstanding educational leader to become the next Head of Middle School Boys, Years 7–10 (Gottliebsen House), leading a vibrant and high-performing boys’ learning community at the Keilor East Campus.
As a member of the School Executive, this significant leadership role combines strategic oversight with visible, relational leadership. Reporting to the Principal and Deputy Principal, you will lead a thriving Middle School community where academic excellence, student wellbeing and character development are equally valued.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
- Lead the strategic vision and daily operations of Gottliebsen House
- Champion excellence in teaching, learning and student wellbeing
- Foster a strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Lead and inspire a team of approximately 60 staff members
- Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community
- Drive student leadership, engagement and positive school culture
- Contribute actively as a member of the School Executive
