Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Primary Teacher role based in Dubai. The Primary Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and learning standards. Responsibilities include creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and using formative and summative assessments to track progress. The teacher will maintain regular communication with families and colleagues, contribute to grade-level and whole-school initiatives, and participate in meetings, professional development, and school events. The role also involves managing classroom routines, supporting students’ social and emotional development, and ensuring a safe and respectful learning space.
Qualifications
- Strong teaching skills in a primary/elementary setting, with experience in delivering age-appropriate instruction and managing classroom behavior.
- Expertise in curriculum development and lesson planning, including the ability to design learning experiences that meet clear objectives and standards.
- Background in elementary education or primary education, with knowledge of child development and effective pedagogical approaches.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with colleagues, engage with families, and provide clear feedback to students.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a recognized teaching qualification or license is strongly preferred.
- Experience in international or multicultural school environments is an advantage.
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching and to ongoing professional learning.
- Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
