Your Opportunity
As Head of Department (Curriculum), you will provide leadership in inclusive curriculum practice, staff capability and the use of evidence to support improved student outcomes.
- Build the capability of all staff in inclusion, reasonable adjustments, supports and differentiation through a planned program of professional development, coaching and support.
- Strong knowledge and experience in differentiating, modifying and aligning curriculum to meet individual student needs.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to create inclusive learning environments.
- Experience supporting teachers to implement effective inclusive teaching strategies and reasonable adjustments.
- Ability to use student data to identify learning needs, monitor progress and improve student outcomes.
