Position Details

We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Secondary Science Teacher to teach general science and teach Chemistry and/or Physics to secondary students commencing in 2027.
The successful applicant will be committed to maximising the engagement and progress of all students within a culture of excellence and faith.
Selection Criteria
- A clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
- Ability to teach Science and Chemistry/ Physics to secondary students.
- Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Mercy Education Limited.
- Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who works well with their peers to plan for and implement teaching programs that improve student learning through effective teaching and differentiated learning.
- Excellent planning and use of digital technologies, thinking skills and pedagogies that engage students.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe environment.
- Demonstrated skills in establishing effective collaborative working relationships with staff, students and parents.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Current TRBWA
- Current Working with Children Card.
