As a valued member of our team, we're looking for a
German, French and Chinese Language Teachers and Assistants to join our exceptional team at Caulfield Grammar School and be part of making a real difference by positively impacting our student experience and contributing to our school community.
These positions will be based at our Caulfield and Wheelers Hill Campus and will see you working closely with classroom teachers and supporting students with their language learning needs, including conversational practice.

Key Duties
- Provide one-on-one assistance for the specific learning needs of students across the full range of abilities
- Deliver conversation classes for individuals and small groups
- Support Unit 1 and 2 students in preparation for outcomes and in the classroom
- Support Unit 3 and 4 students in preparation for oral examinations and in the classroom
- Support and assist teachers to develop teaching and learning programs
- Provide teachers with feedback regarding their students’ achievements during small group and one-on-one sessions
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
Skills And Experience
- Fluent language communication skills in either German, French or Both
- A minimum of CEFRL B2+ Language level
- Any previous experience working with students would be desirable
- Experience in assisting year 12 VCE with oral practice highly regarded
- Hold a current VIT Registration/Hold or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check.
