Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site leadership opportunity for the role of Head of Primary at Pebbles College, based in Brisbane, QLD. In this role, the Head of Primary will oversee all operations of the primary department, including curriculum planning, teacher mentoring, and fostering a positive school culture. Responsibilities include driving academic excellence, ensuring compliance with educational standards, and implementing innovative teaching practices. The role involves direct engagement with teachers, parents, and students to create a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in education, including team management and strategic planning
- Strong teaching background with expertise in curriculum development and instructional strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging effectively with staff, parents, and students
- Familiarity with educational standards, regulations, and best practices in primary education
- Experience with fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusion within a school setting
- Ability to inspire, mentor, and develop educational staff
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field, with certifications in school leadership being a plus
