Your Opportunity
Deception Bay State High School provides innovative Senior Schooling options to ensure students are able to find the pathway towards a successful future.
As senior Schooling HOD you will work collaboratively with a team including VET HODs, Year Level Leaders and admin officers to track student progress towards QCE attainment. You will also be responsible for the delivery of a "Learning for Life" pastoral care program for senior students.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
