Norris road State School is seeking a Deputy Principal to join our leadership team and help shape a culture of excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement. You will lead key school improvement initiatives, support and develop staff capability, build strong partnerships with families and the wider community, and ensure effective governance and operational management. This is a temporary full-time position until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

About The Role
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide strategic school leadership by supporting the Principal to develop and implement a shared educational vision that drives high-quality learning outcomes, continuous improvement, and future-focused planning.
- Lead with integrity and high expectations by upholding ethical, values-based leadership, embedding inclusive and socially just practices, and fostering a culture of excellence for students and staff.
- Build strong partnerships and professional capacity by engaging in ongoing professional learning and collaborating with parents, government agencies, community organisations, industry, and business to enhance student success.
- Ensure effective governance and operational leadership by deputising for the Principal when required, applying relevant legislation and departmental policies, and managing school resources strategically to achieve organisational goals.
